This one seems really bad. People say that its as bad as Katrina. My heart goes out to people of the state especially to those in New Orleans. They lost more than 1500 lives in Katrina. Quite a few of the survivors are still living in makeshift shelters. And now even that would not be [...]

OOOPS!!! What was that? Did Obama kiss Jill Biden on the lips at the Democratic Convention? Yeah. He did. What a convenient ‘accident’! Just accidental? Hmm! May be or may be not. Why do I say this? I have my reasons guys. I know lot of you guys will say that he’s a lefty [...]

Bang on! As I had predicted McCain has picked up a very smart and beautiful woman as his VeePee’s choice. Let me congratulate myself for this. I seem to be getting better and better. Ha! Ha! Just kidding. But it was quite natural. He had no choice but to pick a woman or a black [...]

For the last few days Democrats have had an absolutely open field and they have utilized it to the maximum. They’ve managed to hog all the limelight and have been at the center of attention of even most die hard Republicans. The media has lapped up each of their impressive speakers. And these impressive speakers [...]

America made a new begining today by making Barack Obama the offcial Democratic Party nominee for election of the president of USA. Hats off to all those who made this possible. Hats off to Obama who believed in himself and his supporters. First task of securing the nomination accomplished, though with lot of acrimony [...]

It’s difficult for me to write much about myself these days though I write about general topics. I’m quite uncomfortable most of the time what with the baby kicking a lot. It’s due any time now. So forgive me people if I’m not able to write about myself in the next few days. I’ m [...]

Continuing with the trend of megastars launching their own political parties, Superstar Chiranjeevi launched his own party ‘PrajaRajyam’ at Tirupati on Tuesday. And what a show! What a show of srength or support or whatever you want to call it. According to reports there were more than 10 lakh people there. Fantastic beginning. Anybody [...]

Hillary Clinton is a sweet no nonsense women who knows what she wants and at the Democratic Convention she made it quite clear that she wants Obama as the next president of America. She appeared pretty forceful and energized in her endorsement of Barack Obama. She also thanked her supporters for their support and asked [...]

If you asked me today to pick the president of US I would say forget McCain, forget even Barack Obama, just pick Michelle Obama. She rocks, man. She can give any public speaking guy a run for his money if she decides to. What a performance! What a speech! Had America been the only nation [...]

What the fucks! The pollsters are saying that girls studying in Michigan are ready to have sex in lieu of movie tickets, laundry washing (sic), tickets to a football game and other such freebies. What the hell is our world coming to? Whats the matter with girls of Michigan? Hey hey! Sorry. I’m sure this [...]

Okay, of all the TV networks which one was the best debate on match fixing? Well, for me it was the one on Times Now where our dear old Bishen Singh Bedi appeared half drunk. At first it seemed like I was mistaken but when he started talking I was more than convinced that he was indeed three or four drinks down, at least. A couple of drinks more and I'm sure Bedi would've told Arnab Goswami," Oye, Chadd Yaar. Tainu Kee? Aye koi nai gall thodi hai. Salon se ho raya hega. CHEERS!!" or words to that effect. But you can't really blame Bedi for this. What do you expect people to be doing at nine in the evening? Good people work through the day and party in the evenings. Don't they? For that matter, Farouq Engineer who was speaking from Manchester, UK where it was around four thirty in the evening, was seen having a huge cup of coffee (or at least that's my guess) because you are supposed to have coffee at that time......
