Pradip, sorry, but I don't really need any lectures on what and how should I be writing. That's my prerogative. Period. Moreover, at least appreciate the fact that I'm honest enough to say what I feel. Look around you, most media houses have inherent biases. Just that that they won't say it.
Lastly, point out one fact or statement of mine which is incorrect or biased. Yes, I do have my biases but I do not let it affect my judgement.

Everyone is biased may not be true. Why the pain of writing a blog? It's to create some awareness. If, the author find someone or something wrong, he/she is morally bound to ensure that the author does not do anything wrong. For doing justice to the subject, justice to the reader, the article/blog has to free from personal bias. An article with biased view especially against a person, family or party is wrong. Sooner or later, the author is going to get branded & even avoided too. It could be intellectual feed only if the same is free from personal bias. Keeping the article free from personal bias may take time & may be difficult but not impossible. Here is when the author grow, have an edge over the readers and take the readers up with him/her. If this blog is for BJP propaganda, it's nothing but a political move, with apology, a cheap move.

Support BJP, Condemn Congress or party in ruling. If BJP comes to power tomorrow, praise Govt. This is not what readers want. Readers expect some honest views and intellectual debate. If, the author can not rise above personal bias, justice can not be done to the subject. The subject will end around the biased feelings which can never be acceptable to many if not all.

Every day, there is a scope to learn, to grow, to sublime. Each one of us has to learn, grow & sublime. Learn, grow & sublime has be to be the aim of any person.

A biased article is not going to generate reverence for The Author. It would be counter productive.

I feel, a author should have open mind. The Author could not and should not stick to the view that everyone is biased, so am I and my article will be biased only.

The Author writes for someone to read and hence should have value for the time devoted by the reader & care for reader's need, fair & balanced article.

A person change and have scope to change. Politicians are no exception to this change. Gandhi family could have done something wrong & something good. The future will show the results of Rahul Gandhi's actions. My feeling is, it has prevented U.P. Police brutality on helpless villagers. Without his noble or motivated intervention (whatever it may be, he is a politician with political goal), hell would have broke on these villagers irrespective of their sex & age.

The author has been silent on why she has not included the events prior to Rahul Gandhi's visit & Dharna which led him to go to these villages.

Neither I am satisfied of my instant reply here-in or sure whether I am able to put my views with thorough clarity.

I am somehow left with the impression that The Author carry grudge against Gandhi family and the write up is to tarnish the image of Rahul Gandhi.

Regarding supporting Congress or Gandhi family in other issues is as the issues are identical issues that exist in The Author's mind. Whether The Author is willing to see other moves of Congress, Gandhi family or Rahul Gandhi with a positive mind and willing to accept something novel that does not exist in The Author's mind?

At the end, I am not against the article and certainly not against The Author but I trust that The Author expect honest views and is open to different views.

My question is how would The Author feel if she or her kin are seen with prejudice by society for long may be for her one mistake of lifetime?

To me Rahul Gandhi shall remain an "Amul Baby"... I do not think this country ought to wait/pray/ until this baby matures. Who else but Rahul will tell the whole country that he found mound of burnt bodies etc. without checking facts.

As for Mayawati, she will turn out to be another pain in the ass for the country in the long term.. but by then I hope her subjects will be empowered enough to throw her out.

Let me just say that yes I do have my biases. Everyone has. Having said this I'll support Rahul Gandhi and his party when they do something good. I supported them on Women's reservation bill, Indo-US nuke deal, space achievements etc etc. But this is just politics not welfare. Had it been farmer's rights that they were bothered about they'd brought in land acquisition bill eons ago.
Moreover, why don't they show similar support to farmers in more than 40 other districts where similar problems have been raging for years now?

Let me make it clear that I am not attached to any political party or share their ideologies.

Does this mean that a person who can not take identical cause in 40 places can not take one on hand?

With due apology, since it is Rahul Gandhi, a big fuss is made.

Indira Gandhi retained Rae Bareily seat for long. U.P. is the biggest state & it used to shape Govt. at Centre. As far as I remember, Rajiv Gandhi too was elected from U.P.

Noida being a stone throw distance to Delhi, Rahul Gandhi's attention to the un-usual things happening there would naturally attract.

While other comparisons are made here-in, there is no mention of un-usual incidents that took place prior to Rahul's visit. 3 Govt. officials were kidnapped by villagers. Does anyone mean that police should over look it? When police went, villagers & police both opened fire which killed if not mistake, 2 persons from each side. High ranking police officers were injured by Villager's firing.

Is it not worth attracting attention of any political person - who superficially if not genuinely a social worker? Violence did take place. That was not going to end it without further violence from Police as they are not used to take violence against the force lightly.

Other allegations against Mayawati are, The Govt. is paying Rs.800/= p/sq mtr to farmers & reselling the acquired land to pvt. builders @ Rs.3000/= or at profit of Rs.3000/= p/sqmtr for development of other than purpose for which the land is acquired. When we have been strongly protesting other scams, is this not a scam to raise election funds?

What is wrong if for bonafide cause or for political corrective measures or ambitions, Rahul Gandhi use his influence?

The Villager behind this violence is claimed to be a criminal with number of cases against him. No idea what's the truth in the matter? I am just reminding circumstances.

In politics, issues are blown out of proportion and mostly until issues not blown out of proportion, corrective measures by responsibles are not taken.

While there are claims and counter claims for homicide & violence against weaker section especially for a scam, Rahul Gandhi's demand of a judicial inquiry is fully justified. Why is Mayawati not agreeing to a judicial inquiry if all is well?

I have no intention to talk on each and every sentence of this long blog, I would like to say,

Like each persons, bloggers have to rise above their prejudices and ensure that the blog is balanced, fair & short as much possible - free from redundance. In absence thereof, neither a blog will be appreciated and supported nor The Blogger will sublime.

Hope my comments will be taken in right spirit.

It is quite sad that none of the politcal honchos are bothered about poor farmers. All this is an eye wash. What PM has given is peanuts.
Hope this bill takes care of past cases also like u've written. Good piece.
