Cho sweet!!!

Cho sweet!!!

Amongst all the chaos created by the Indian Cricket Team and Shiney Ahuja we nearly missed this one about Begum Fiza. Remember, she created a big furore when Chand Mohammad just dumped her and vanished. There were reports that she even tried to commit suicide. Off course, she recovered and then called for press conferences where she read out love messages stored on her phone. Meanwhile, Chand Mohammad went back to his influential family saying that he had made a mistake and was back to make amends with his first wife and kids. Well, he has made another mistake now. I believe he’s back with Fiza now.

What a ridiculous man! I mean, this guy has to be absolutely out of his mind to behave the way he did. First, he falls for a woman despite being married to someone else. He dumps his family, elopes with Fiza, becomes a Muslim and marries her. He stays with her for a couple of months and then dumps her to go back to his first wife and family.

The split was wide open. Wasn't it?

The split was wide open. Wasn't it?

And when we thought that Chand-Fiza story was over he goes back to Fiza and pleads with her to take him back. And she does. What a crazy woman! Well, may be they are equally crazy and deserve to be with each other. Point is, why did these two make such a scene of their love story? They say that love is blind but in their case it seems to be stupid. And what’s the guarantee that he won’t leave her again because of pressure from his family or because of a third woman? Off course, no one can guarantee that. But I can more or less say with surety that this guy is not dependable and will leave her in a couple of month’s time on some pretext or the other. That’s for sure. Fiza would be making another blunder if she accepts his apology.

Actually, she should not. Things are going great guns for her right now. She’s starring in a movie called Deshdrohi 2 and is also doing a reality show for a TV channel. Financially, she’s doing okay and has nothing much to worry about. So why should she take him back? She should not. Well, that’s what I feel. I wouldn’t advise her to forsake everything once again for a man who has ditched her earlier. What say you? Do you agree with me or do you feel that she should take him back and hope like hell that he stays with her?

Just think about Fiza. There is nothing wrong about what she has done or not done. I mean it was this guy who left her. He has realized his fault now and is back with her. Good for her. Every woman wants to feel secure. He is her security.

I really wonder on what grounds are Lalus and Mulayams protesting against the Women's Bill. Their argument, is unconvincing and shaky. Even ideally, if for a moment, we think that poor Dalit women were to be indeed elected I'd damned if our highest governing bodies were to be made up of women who are absolutely illiterate and work as maids or do some such menial jobs. I really do not have anything against them but they do not have the aptitude or ability for this job, not as of now at least. As for my maid, I'm thankful to God if she completes my household chores satisfactorily, leave aside managing the country. .....
