Vijender Singh is unhappy, and quite justifiably so, as some of us would say. You see, both him and wrestler Sushil Kumar have not been included in the list of Padma Awardees which was announced on the eve of Republic Day recently. And I agree with him. I really do not understand that when Abhinav Bindra can be awarded one why can’t these two be? Haven’t they too done India proud by winning medals in Beijing Olympics?
