Every Tom, Dick and Harry in this world knows that working out is important but if you count the number of people you know who workout on a daily basis or even regularly you’d be amazed to see that there are hardly any. If you have more than ten of your acquaintances/relatives/colleagues who make it to that list you are a lucky one. And no, please do not count those who go for walks regularly because walking the way people do is more like a stroll than anything else and let me add that it doesn’t do a world of good either. Imagine, not even ten people in your entire list of all those people whom you know workout on a regular basis! But the important question is - ARE YOU IN THAT LIST OR NOT?

Darwin was so bloody right. His theory of SURVIVAL OF THE FITTEST still holds so true. And I don’t mean we as human race need to be fittest amongst the other species. I mean we as individuals within the human race need to be fitter to survive. Be it the corporate world or domestic day to day survival, our survival depends on who is fit and who is not. To the extent that the unfit lot may not just end up being sidelined but may actually die. I know you guys will say that this is like taking things to an extreme. But believe you me it is not an extreme anymore.

By now you guys know pretty well that I’m pretty conscious about my weight and apart from workouts (which I’ll talk about some other time), I keep juggling with various healthy and low-cal recipes and ideas which I would like to share with you.

You’d remember sometime ago in one of my previous posts “Getting a flat belly”, I mentioned that I had reached quite a satisfactory level of fitness in achieving a flat belly, after having my second baby through a C-Section. Now I agree that it’s not so easy but not that difficult also. It can be done, only needs the will power to do so. That’s why I gave myself a pat on the back when I achieved what I did. Having said that, now comes the most difficult part….well, maintaining a flat belly

I am second-time mother of a not yet 4-month old. Now my baby has some kind of routine which allows me time to think about myself among other things. And believe me this ‘ME TIME” is something I was longing for a long long time. I have always been a fitness freak and more so now after two babies through c-section. So the first thing on my mind is getting back into shape and more so into my old jeans without holding my breath. Ya, that’s a trick which works if you put on a few pounds……

Out of hundreds of allegations of fake encounter deaths why is the focus of our entire nation on Sohrabuddin and Amit Shah? Is it because a fake encounter of a Muslim is a different story than that of a Hindu? And that too because it happened in Narendra Modi's Gujarat? Why is the CBI investigating only this case and not so many others where the guilty are quite likely from the Congress party? What about numerous allegations of fake encounters in Andhra Pradesh? What about the prosecution of Jagdish Tytler and Sajjan Kumar in Sikh riots case? What about Ottavio Quattrochi?.....
