Will Kasab be hanged?

They say that don’t kill the human but kill the devil inside the human. But tell you what? Devil can never die. It’s only the human with the devil inside him who can die and he must.

Should judges declare their assets?

Firstly, the judges of Supreme Court are already declaring their assets to CJI. The judges of High Court can also do the same. If the CJI is satisfied with this arrangement, asking for these details to be available to public in general is like saying that CJI is not doing his job. Also, what do you do after getting the details? Should a judge be answering everyone how he has got the wealth that he has declared? Imagine a judge inquiring into allegations of disproportionate wealth case of a bureaucrat. In the course of the proceedings, what if the litigant asks the judge, ‘how did you obtain your wealth, before asking me to explain my riches?’

Did Pandher deserve death sentence too?

Let’s not get carried away by the enormity of what happened in Nithari. I agree that in the over all scheme of things Pandher may have been involved in all those killings of small children and women but we will get to that later. This one today is not about all those innocents who died in House no D5, Sector 31, Noida. This is about the death of only one of them, Rimpa Halder, a 14 year old girl

BJP: What next?

Out of hundreds of allegations of fake encounter deaths why is the focus of our entire nation on Sohrabuddin and Amit Shah? Is it because a fake encounter of a Muslim is a different story than that of a Hindu? And that too because it happened in Narendra Modi's Gujarat? Why is the CBI investigating only this case and not so many others where the guilty are quite likely from the Congress party? What about numerous allegations of fake encounters in Andhra Pradesh? What about the prosecution of Jagdish Tytler and Sajjan Kumar in Sikh riots case? What about Ottavio Quattrochi?.....
