When Dr BR Ambedkar wrote our constitution I’m quite sure he did not really take into account the kind of progress that would be made in medicine technology which can be put to effective use against criminals. Nor did he visualize that half a century down the line India would be one of the most corrupt and crime infested nations on the face of this earth. What he did was in tune with the times he lived in. And the times have indeed changed. For most of us Indians making money at any cost is the prime reason for existence, laws be damned. Is it any wonder then that the crime graph of our country is rising with every passing day? And the low conviction rate is a very big reason for this because of which the accused are let off on the streets to commit more crimes.

As you can see things in the valley are still pretty bad. The violence levels may have come down but the people of Kashmir still have very little faith in the establishment. It is this lack of faith which is used by Hurriyat and parties like PDP to exploit any given situation to their advantage using innocent civilians as the rallying point. Omar would do well to ensure that his govt undertakes this as their main agenda for governance. He needs to transcend his sincerity into action for the people to see for themselves. Sincerity alone does not really count for much.

I told those guys at F bar as well as at LAP bar “Jannte nahin mera baap kaun hai?” (Meaniing- don’t you know who my pop is?) But I’m sorry to say papa that they didn’t. They didn’t know you at all. What the hell papa? You haven’t yet made a name for yourself? Even though you managed to get Mr Hooda the required votes for his Chief Ministership but still nobody knows you. And what use is such closeness if you can’t use it for your own son? Look at me. Everyone knows me even if it’s only because I’m a killer. But they all know me just the same.

I agree that in the over all scheme of things Pandher may have been involved in all those killings of small children and women but we will get to that later. Her name is Eluana Englaro, She’s a 37 year old Italian woman although in this photograph she’s a young and happy 20 year old. That’s because she could not have smiled at this stage of her life. You see you can’t really smile when you’re in coma. And she’s been in that state for the last 17 years. Moreover, she’s dead now.
