The problem is both ways. There are sections within both Muslims and Christians who openly denounce the other. It is just that that some of these are played up by the media and some are not. Like for example the protests against Danish cartoons of Prophet Mohammad were flashed all around the world by the media while Pope Benedict’s lecture at Regensburg in Sep 2006 where he deplored Islam was not. Possibly because international media houses are predominantly controlled by Christians and they can choose what to play up and what to play down.
