Why did Rakhi Sawant backtrack?

As you guys must be aware by now, Rakhi Sawant has chosen Elesh Parujanwala from among the last three to be her life partner. Finally, the suspense is over. But guess what? She did not marry him as she was supposed to yesterday. Instead it was just an engagement ceremony after she chose Elesh. Why did she develop cold feet at the last moment? What made her change her mind? Didn’t she know all along that she will have to marry one of these guys in the end? Off course she did. Then why did she not do it? Well, let’s find out.
Firstly, it’s Rakhi Sawant we are talking about here. And we all know how unpredictable she is. And if that be so it is not really surprising that she has now gone back on her promises. In any case NDTV IMAGINE has achieved it’s aim of boosting it’s TRPs. Even some one like me who is least interested in reality shows tuned in to watch the grand finale.
Secondly, we are talking about a real marriage here. There are a whole lot of issues which people need clarifications on before they take the plunge. It may seem mundane to some but things like Gotra and Janamkundli do matter to a lot of people. And this may be an issue between the groom and his parents or between Rakhi and Elesh’s parents. Mind you, all I’m saying is that may be it’s an issue.
Thirdly, I feel that it was never meant to culminate in a marriage in the first place. Yeah, that’s right. Whatever the channel may say now I very sincerely feel that this is indeed the case. The deal possibly was to build up an expectation and then slowly change it from a marriage to a ring ceremony. And that’s exactly what has happened. The story on her backtracking has not been splashed around by any one. It just appeared as a routine thing in the corner of the newspapers. Even the channel itself did not make much of a noise about it which they should have if they wanted her to genuinely marry the guy. Any one who watched the show yesterday will agree that while Rakhi was finally about to choose her groom she did not seem to be nervous or shy at all. Quite frankly, it all seemed fake. If Rakhi was indeed acting It wasn’t convincing at all and it showed in the way she walked and talked. I don’t really know about you guys but the she seemed to be just going through the motions.
When you add all the controversy about married guys being shortlisted among the candidates to the doubts which have arisen now one can safely assume that the entire thing was a staged affair. In fact I’m more or less convinced about this. Rakhi Sawant is quite capable of doing this and I said as much when I wrote Does Rakhi Sawant need help?. It must have seemed too lucrative and convenient to be refused. She could always say that she needs some more time to get to know the winner before tying the knot. And this is exactly what she has said now. Moreover, she has also said that she wants to continue working in Mumbai. I really wonder how will she continue working when her husband is living in Toronto unless she never intended to move from here at all to start with? And therefore it’s highly unlikely that she will go any further than this with this relationship. It’s rather obvious. Poor Elesh Parujanwala. I really feel bad for him. He seemed like a nice guy but then he doesn’t really know Rakhi that well. Does he? But we do, for sure. Don’t we?
Come to think of it NDTV IMAGINE can be taken to court for having made an absolute fool of people. They have taken us for a ride for more than a month and have pocketed crores of rupees by way of advertisements during this show. If they say they did not intend this to happen then they should make the contract public which they signed with Rakhi for this show. Take it from me, they will not. And that’s because they are guilty.

U r not being fair 2 Rakhi. she may b unpredictable but she's sensible if not intelligent. this what it seems happened. she got in2 this deal but later realised that she cant go thru when she cant meet the wud be groom in person. it had 2 b only in front of camera. derefore she decided 2 wait for some more time before they tuk the plunge. not much wrong with that. i wish er very best. she has suffered a lot in her life.
